The MRS.V Group at a glance

Bordeaux-based trading company.

In 2020, the MRS.V Group was founded to create an alliance and unity between Zhao Wei’s various Bordeaux properties.

The creation of the group began with the “coup de coeur” encounter with Château Monlot, a property with a long history and renowned for its terroir in Saint-Émilion, on Bordeaux’s right bank. As soon as the estate was acquired in 2011, its potential gave rise to a global project.

The MRS.V Group also symbolizes the passion of a team of men and women with varied international experience, united by the same ambition: to reveal and promote discreet vineyards with remarkable potential.

The four letters of MRS.V echo the four properties of the group:

  • The M for Château Monlot, property in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
  • The R for Château La Croix de Roche, 100% organic winery in Galgon
  • The S stands for Château Sénailhac, a historic building surrounded by 50 hectares of clay-limestone hills.
  • The V for Château La Vue, a vineyard in Saint-Émilion, tended like a garden
V is also a meaningful letter: The vine, wine, a vision.

Our properties

Chateau Monlot

Chateau Monlot

Château Monlot is a 400-year-old estate close to the small medieval town of Saint-Émilion.

Its vineyards, 35-40 years old on average, cover 8 hectares of vines on clay-limestone and silty-clay soils: a remarkable terroir for growing Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Château Monlot and Héritage de Monlot are the estate’s two Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wines.

Château La Vue

Château La Vue

Château La Vue, located at the foot of Saint-Émilion, this 15-hectare property faces the village.

Two grape varieties make up the Château La Vue vineyard: 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. On gravel and sand soils, this estate produces 2 cuvées in the Saint-Émilion and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations.

The estate, close to the appellation’s most famous growths, also welcomes visitors to its boutique, where it sells all the group’s wines, as well as Grands Crus from all over the Bordeaux region.

chateau sénailhac

Château Sénailhac

Château Sénailhac, located in the commune of Tresses, at the gateway to the majestic city of Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covers 50 hectares on a hillside of clay-limestone and clay-loam soils, with 30-year-old vines planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.

Five Bordeaux Supérieur appellation cuvées are produced on this estate.

château La Croix de Roche

Château La Croix de Roche

Château La Croix de Roche is located on the outskirts of Libourne in the canton of Fronsac. The vineyard, certified organic by Écocert since 2010, covers 14 hectares on a sandy-clay and limestone plateau.

The red grape varieties are predominantly Merlot, with hints of Malbec, Carménère and Petit Verdot. The hand-harvested whites are a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris and Semillon.
